Boss Lady Hosts BK Brasco’s New York Showcase Event

BK Brasco and Boss Lady

BK Brasco is a name you’re going to be hearing a lot more in the near future.

The Brooklyn rapper/songwriter played a sold-out showcase in New York City last night, which I had the honor of hosting. Celebrating the upcoming release of his long-awaited EP, 18th Floor: Thompson Hotel Edition (due on Thanksgiving) the “industry’s best kept secret” impressed the audience (filled with assorted media, artists, fans and Brasco’s extended family) thanks to lively renditions of tracks like “Every Bag” featuring RaVaughn and “After All” featuring Stacy Barthe.

A music business veteran whose career has been guided by the likes of Jimmy Iovine, Jay-Z and Timbaland, BK Brasco is clearly poised for stardom. With a wealth of knowledge and experience plus a refreshing new approach to get his music out to the masses, Bras (as he’s known) is here to stay.

Exclusive: Iggy Azalea “Boss Lady” (Woman On Top Mixtape Preview)

Following on from Snow Tha Product‘s “She Ain’t Me” and Rapsody‘s “Most Poetical,” here’s the third (and final) exciting preview from my upcoming Woman On Top mixtape.

This one’s from my fellow Australian Iggy Azalea called (what else?) “Boss Lady.” Iggy’s currently working on her debut album The New Classic (due sometime next year) and performed last night on VH1 Divas.

Woman On Top features original tracks from some of my favorite artists and shows the musical diversity the ladies of hip-hop are bringing right now, mixed by DJ Adore. It drops Christmas Eve (December 24) right here on
